We went into the client’s boardroom telling them that for their 50th anniversary advertisement, we wanted to paint an entire hotel room – and all of its contents – gold. So we did! Over 48 hours, 2 set designers and 2 art directors did nothing but that, coating everything from shuttlecocks, papier-mâché geese right down to grapes and duvet covers, in a solid matte gold finish.
